Chevy Chase, MD, 2/05/2015 – Davies Consulting is pleased to announce the addition of Elizabeth (Beth) Bartholomew as partner and leader of the firm’s newly expanded Regulatory/Strategy line of business. Ms. Bartholomew will lead the firm’s efforts in this area, working with gas and electric utilities to strengthen the links between their operational, business strategy, and regulatory affairs organizations.

“Beth has decades of experience in business strategy consulting and has worked with many utilities to bridge between operations and corporate teams,” said Brooke Davies, a Davies Consulting managing partner. “Her ability to see the big picture while understanding the complexities of the utility business is a huge asset for our electric and gas utility clients.”

Ms. Bartholomew originally joined Davies Consulting in 1992, leaving as a Vice President in 2000 to take a leadership role with a Fortune 500 information technology (IT) company.  In April 2013, she rejoined the firm as a Principal.  She also has held leadership roles with several leading public sector consultancies.  As the client services lead with those companies, she supported C-level client executives in planning and executing a variety of high-profile initiatives, including:

  • Creating the first strategic plan for a 900-member, worldwide IT organization;
  • Drafting national emergency communications plans;
  • Developing first responder communication protocols and standards; and
  • Co-authoring the 2002 E-Government Strategy and implementing 24 Presidential E-government initiatives.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University, where she was a Baker Scholar, and a Master of Business Administration from The Darden School, University of Virginia.
